Before The Party Book, my schools struggled with fundraising all year long and the volunteers hated a lot of it. When I was in junior high, we sold candy bars to pay for uniforms for the drill team. This was 1980s fundraising, small scale and bad for your teeth. Back then parents were rarely involved, and we kids hustled the neighborhood!
Fast forward to the 21st Century. Fundraising can be much more effective by casting a far wider net, and parents are highly involved with their children’s efforts.
